Waters Funeral Home was founded in 1884 by the Waters Family. Their family proudly served the community for 3 Generations. Following John Waters death in 1971, the funeral home was purchased by John “Jack” L. Clougherty.
Jack honored the Waters tradition of operating a family business, working with his brother, Robert Clougherty, for many years. Jack’s children, Shaun P. Clougherty and Joanna E. Clougherty, followed in their father’s footsteps and worked alongside him until his Jack's death in 2011.
Shaun and Joanna are still continuing to provide a caring and compassionate service to the residents of Concord and the surrounding communities.
Waters Funeral Home continues to be the only family-owned and operated Funeral Home in Concord, NH.
