William "Bill" Gauthier, age 72, of Kannapolis, NC, died on January 21, 2024.

A native and longtime resident of New Hampshire, Gauthier was born June 20th, 1951, to the late Roger and Rita Gauthier and attended Manchester West High School, graduating in 1969. He joined the U.S. Navy after high school, serving on the USS Courtney from 1970-1971.

Bill was married for more than 30 years to the late Theresa (Geary) Gauthier. They lived in Londonderry and raised a family, proudly supporting local sports teams. A Teamster, Gauthier retired from his career as a long-haul and local truck driver in 2017.

He is survived by his son William J. Gauthier of Concord; daughter Jennifer Gauthier of Andover, MA; daughter Rebecca Gauthier and Mr. Tim Rice of Cornelius, NC; and four grandchildren, Ethan, Katie, Erik and Emily; his sister Anne Simard and brother-in-law Paul Simard of Concord; sister Denise Pineault and brother-in-law Dennis Pineault of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial visiting hours will be held on Sunday, July 7th from 10 am to 12 Noon at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord.
