Wilfred J. Duclos Jr. age 91 died Wednesday September 11 at Concord Hospital peacefully with his family by his side.  He was born in Concord son of the late Wilfred J. Duclos Sr. and Mary (Pierce) Lackey.

Wilfred served his country in the United States Army serving during the Korean War. He owned and operated his own welding company, Wills Welding, drove truck for Lane Construction and was also at one time a Concord Police Officer.  He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Joan (Hart) Duclos, two daughters; Cindy Duclos, Debbie Cummings and her husband Michael, one son; Kevin Duclos and his wife Janet, seven grandchildren; Jody, Shari, Rebecca, Bryan, Jonathan, Kevin Jr., Ryan, twelve great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and one brother.

He was predeceased by 6 siblings.

Visiting hours will be held Monday September 16 from 5-7 at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main St., Concord.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 17 at 11am in the chapel of the Waters Funeral Home.

Burial with military honors will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
