Obituary

Therese Marie Donohue from Warner NH went home to our Lord on July 9, 2023. Therese was born on May 24,1997 to Stephen Donohue of Kennebunk, ME and Margaret (Guyette) Donohue of Warner.

Therese attended Kearsarge Regional High School in North Sutton, NH and furthered her education at New Hampshire Technical Institute.

As a teenager she spent many happy hours working at the School House Cafe with Caleen and Kathy.

Therese loved her family more than words can describe. She was always present for family gatherings. Whether it was a baptism or a birthday party, Therese was there with a cheerful smile and a warm hug. She had a passion for the outdoors and found great peace and solitude in nature. On any given day, she could be found taking a peaceful walk through the woods or sitting watching a sunset over a pond.

Therese was a loving and vivacious person who always put others before herself.

In addition to her parents she is survived by eight brothers, Peter Donohue and his wife Carly, John "Jack" Donohue and his wife Lauren, Michael Donohue and his wife Julia, Patrick Donohue, Joseph Donohue and his wife Nikki, Stephen Donohue and his wife Tess, James Donohue, and Jerome Donohue; three sisters, Mary Paulhamus and her husband Rick, Cathleen Vicinanzo and her husband David, and Margaret Donohue; and twenty nieces and nephews.

Below is a poem written by a friend of Therese:

She held galaxies under the surface of her skin. The words left her mouth so convincing and true, that if she told the ocean to lay still, its waves would cease to kiss the shore. When she looked at you, there was no butterflies in your chest, but pure calm overcame you like a sudden rain. Her hand fit perfectly in yours, but all the while you never realized she was holding your pieces together as well. When she touched you it was like a lightning storm raged through your veins. She had a way of making 'goodbyes' feel like the end of the world, and the beginning of a new chapter all at once. Her presence was so pure that even freshly fallen snow could not compare. Her smile, oh gosh, that smile could end a world war. And her heart could heal the pain of even the weariest soul. She was the feeling of freedom when you reach the peak of a mountain and she was the peace found deep of the forests. She was love, perfect love.
