Sonia Donna
Deanne Whiteman
December 10, 2022
Sonia Donna Deanne Whiteman, age 74, of Thorndike Street, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2022 at her home with her family by her side.
Native American Prayer "I give you this one thought to keep. I am with you still- I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle Autumn rain. When you awaken in the mornings' hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not think of me as gone – I am with you still – In each new dawn" -Robbin Drummon.
With All Our Love, Ian and Donna Matthews, Marc, Taylor, Mason, Dulcie, Jackie, Carmen, Tammy, Rose, Colby, Travis, Robert, Nana and Papa, Marcelle, Marilyn, Evelyn, Judy, Ken, Cecil, Andy, Flor, Andrew, Alexa, Daniel, Peggy, Don, Daniel, David, Patricia, Denise, Rene, Anthony, Debbie, Tricia, Ken Jr., Gabby, Richard and Will, Barbara and Erik, Pam, Patrick, Sue, Ellen, Jack, Reva, Gordon, Donna D., Laura, Dave, Kita, Dani, George, Josie, Jack, Brian and Hope, Amanda, Jamie, John, Bella, Connor, Angela and Carey, the Hinsdale Family and the office of Dr. Bruce Chronhardt. Thank you all for the love and support including all extended friends and family.
You could always find Sonia in the kitchen cooking from scratch. She loved ballroom dancing, winning first place with Ron and Brenda Studios. She loved NHPR, eclectic music and shopping at the Concord CO-OP. She was a homecare nurse provider, ranging across the lifespan of Pediatrics to Hospice. Sonia was born in Trinidad but loved living in NH and is where she considered her home.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Jennifer, Amy, Jan, Mandy, Kaitlyn, Bonnie, Maureen, Mark, Ellie, Laurie, Bonnie, Collette, Leah and the whole team including the overnight dispatch from the Granite State Hospice. We wish the whole world ran on your compassion. We would also like to thank the Waters Funeral Home for the kindness and warmth one needs at such a moment in time.
