Shirrill
Cofrin
September 15, 1956 – July 6, 2023
Shirrill Ann Prunier Cofrin, known for her kind and loving nature, passed away on July 6, 2023, surrounded by family. She cherished her role as a mother to her three children and a Mémé to her five grandchildren.
Born on September 15, 1956, in Methuen, MA, to Richard and Dorothy (Flanagan) Prunier. She graduated from Tenney High School in 1974, obtained a degree in Social Work from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1978, and obtained her master's in Healthcare Management in 2015 from Southern New Hampshire University.
Shirrill's legacy will forever be defined by her kindness, compassion, and love for others; best represented by her love for her family, and particularly her love for her Grandchildren. Always ready to share any of their beautiful moments captured either in pictures or videos. Beaming with pride at every milestone, and always there to lend any hand whether to help put them to bed, smile at them, but most importantly give them a hug when they needed one the most.
While she had many passions as with her legacy, love was the thread between them all. Her love for music, languages; French in particular, beautiful views, and magnificent architecture. In the latter part of her life, Pokemon Go helped her share her love by playing with others all around the world. Her passions extended from her love of chicken parmesan being her favorite meal to her love of root beer popsicles. Ultimately, she loved to simply spend what time she could with her friends, and family; creating beautiful moments and memories.
Shirrill was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Richard Prunier, from Methuen, MA. She is survived by her husband George "Rusty" Cofrin, her three children: Nicole (Cofrin) Peasley and her husband Darryl of Concord, NH; Brendan Cofrin of Concord, NH; and Timothy Cofrin and his wife Melanie of Bow, NH. She is also survived by her beloved brother, Richard Prunier, and his wife Ann of Ossipee, NH, along with their three sons, their wives, and their children. Many other family members, friends, and loved ones, whose hearts she touched, will deeply miss her.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 15th, from 10 am to 12 pm at the Waters Funeral Home located at 50 S Main Street in Concord. This will be followed by a procession and burial in Concord, as a final farewell to Shirrill.
