Roy E. Sawyer Sr. passed away Sunday July 7 peacefully in his home in Boscawen, NH.  Roy Sr. grew up in Sutton NH and served in the Army Reserve.  He enjoyed activities such as hunting, fishing and listening to country bands.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years. Anna Mae Sawyer and their seven children; Roy E. Sawyer Jr., Dana Sawyer and his wife Ann Guerin, Dale Sawyer, Diane Sawyer and her fiancé Michael Lawyer, Wayne Sawyer, Bonnie Briggs and her husband Ernie, and Paula Cote and her husband Kevin, ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his parents; Charlotte Stickney and Art Sawyer as well as his daughter in law Deborah Sawyer.

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday July 16th at 11AM at Woodlawn Cemetery in Penacook.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Payson Cancer Center 250 Pleasant St. Concord NH 03301 in memory of Roy E. Sawyer Sr.
