With heavy hearts we say goodbye to Robert F. DeAngelis (Bob), 87, of Concord.  He passed away May 7, 2018 at home under Hospice care after a lengthy illness surrounded by his loving wife and children.

He was a lifelong resident of Concord born February 7, 1931, son of the late Frederick and Veronica (Dion) DeAngelis and Veteran of the Korean war. He was employed by the N.H. Savings Bank in 1957 as a savings teller,  promoted to Asst. Comptroller, Vice-President and Treasurer and senior V.P. of Operations.  He retired in 1990 with 33 years of service. He was employed as CFO and VP of Systems Support Corp. in Manchester until 1992.

Bob was a 1948 graduate of Concord High School and served in the U.S. Navy 1951-55.  He received the American Institute of Banking Pre-Standard and Standard Certificates, graduate of the NH Association of Savings Bank School of Banking, the National Association of Mutual Savings Graduate School at Brown University and the National Council of savings Banks Executive Development program at Fairfield University. Bob was president of the American Institute of Banking-Concord chapter, treasurer of NH Arthritis Foundation, member of the Concord Rotary Club, Treasurer and trustee of NH Higher Education, member of the corporation NH Savings Bank and Treasurer Cub Scout Pack #295 1967-1972.  He was a participant in numerous Civic Fund Drives- YMCA, Concord Hospital, Daniel Webster Council Boy Scouts and in the United Way Loaned Executive Program.

Bob was a devoted son, loving husband, father and grandfather. After he retired he loved spending winters at their home in Lakeland, FL with his wife.

In his leisure time Bob was a wood crafter, gardener, and puzzle maker. He enjoyed his coin/stamp collection of many years and loved reading books. Bob also enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruin games and old John Wayne movies.

Bob is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 61 years, Barbara (Keefe) DeAngelis of Concord, Sons, Stephen R. DeAngelis of St. Petersburg, FL, Kevin M. DeAngelis of Concord and his fiancé Lisa Eisele, Daughters, Susan J. Demers and son-in-law Robert of Nashua, NH, Sharon L. Reagan and son-in-law John of Concord, 4  grandchildren; Matthew R. Demers and wife Brittany of Medfield, Mass., Kaleigh Reagan Estabrook and husband Jeffrey of Pembroke, NH, Jeffrey Reagan of Brooklyn N.Y. and his longtime girlfriend Jordan Ball, Abigail DeAngelis of Maumelle, Arkansas, a sister Judith L. DeAngelis of Lakeland, FL, a sister-in-law Mary DeAngelis of Concord, a sister-in-law Kathleen DeAngelis of Boscawen, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents Bob was predeceased by a brother David F. DeAngelis and brother Paul in 2016.

Memorial Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday (5/15) from 4 to 7 PM at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (5/16) at 10 AM at Christ the King Parish, St. John's Church, 72 South Main Street, Concord.

Burial with Military honors will be at the NH Veteran's Cemetery on Wednesday at 1:30 PM, DW Highway Boscawen.
