Robert O. Bailey
Concord-Robert "Bob" O. Bailey, age 76, of Concord passed away peacefully on Friday, February 13th at CRVNA Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Concord, NH the son of the late Yvette M. (Audet) Bailey. He was a graduate of St. John's High School class of 1957, and attended Concord Community College. He was employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield for over 35 years.
Bob was an avid Fisherman and enjoyed hunting in his earlier years. He was a life time member of the Concord Knights of Columbus and a faithful supporter of the Christ the King Food Pantry. Bob was also an avid fan of the Bruins and UNH Hockey.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Jane (Ross) Bailey of Concord; his daughter, Susan (Bailey) Guay and her partner Stanley Williams of Hopkinton; and son Anthony Bailey and his wife Kim of Concord; 5 grandchildren, Spenser, Jordyn, Logan and Evan Guay, and Brayden Bailey; one great granddaughter Miley; his sister, Sheila Bailey Ross of Concord; and 2 brothers, William Bailey of Barnstead and Charles Bailey of Arizona; numerous nieces & nephews.
In addition to his mother Robert was predeceased by his little sister Karen Bailey.
Memorial visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 20th from 5 to 8 PM at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 21st at 11 AM at Christ the King, St. John's Parish, 72 South Main Street, Concord.
Burial will be held at Blossom Hill Cemetery at a later date.
