Raymond W.
Cote
September 27, 2024
Beloved father, husband, and community member Raymond W. Cote, age 74, of Hooksett Turnpike, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Granite VNA Hospice House with his family by his side.
He was born in Queens, NY the son of the late William and Florence (Colletti) Cote.
Raymond was proud to have served his country as a soldier in the Army in the Vietnam war.
He worked as a foreman for the Public Services of NH Reprographics department for many years.
Raymond was the quintessential family man. He loved nothing more than spending time with the love of his life, Lucia, and their daughters, whether making Italian dinners together, going out for pancakes, riding snowmobiles, or making maple syrup.
Ray possessed the wonderful gift of always wanting to make the world a better place through serving his community. He loved the New Hampshire communities of which he was part, where he raised his three daughters and lived much of his life. He often volunteered, helped his neighbors, and even organized many extensive Saco River camping trips.
He took great pride in all he did, whether it was maintaining the lawn and flowers of their beautiful property, fixing vehicles, or cooking.
Raymond's desire to serve was innate. He was a member of the Bow Pioneers Snowmobile Club and loved walking the trails and doing trail work. He enjoyed camping, kayaking, snowmobiling and everything about NH, whether driving back roads, or taking in views of the White Mountains. He and his wife Lucia also enjoyed Kripalu Yoga retreats.
However, nothing brought Raymond Cote more joy than his family.
Raymond is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lucia (Narisi) Cote, of Bow, NH; 3 daughters, Kelly Dumont and her husband Donny of Freeport, ME, Sara French and her husband Zackary of Hopkinton, and Kristen Cote-Kohlhorst and her husband Christopher of Hopkinton; 5 grandchildren, Mia, Cody, Julien, Sonny and Leo; and his sister, Linda Deboe of Ocala, FL.
