Peggy Ann Chagnon, age 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, April 25, 2024 at the home of her son, Robert Chagnon and his wife, Paullette.

She was born in Newmarket NH, on February 15, 1932, one of 5 children to the late William and Mary (Barrett) Audette.

Peggy worked for the Pittsfield Leathers Company, Pittsfield Shoe Company and then for Sprague Electric in Concord, NH until her retirement in 1997.  After her retirement, she devoted and enjoyed many years volunteering at the Pittsfield Senior Center.

She also enjoyed the company of her family and attending sporting events of her great-grandchildren as well as playing Bingo, making jigsaw puzzles, doing word search books and, especially, caring for her parakeets.

In addition to her parents, Peggy is pre-deceased by her husband, Bernard Chagnon, and her brothers, William, Richard and Robert Audette.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Perkins and her husband, Terry of Boscawen, NH, her sons, Robert Chagnon and his wife, Paullette and Dennis Chagnon and his wife, Dorcas, both of Pittsfield, NH, her sister, Marjorie (Audette) Bickford of Newmarket, NH, 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours will be at Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord NH on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 10 AM to 12PM with a service to follow in the chapel of the Waters Funeral Home ant 12 noon.
