Patrick J. Sheehan, age 57, of Concord passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 21, 2024.

Born in Boston and raised in Lincoln, MA, Patrick attended Boston College High School and graduated magna cum laude from Boston College in 1989. Upon graduation Patrick spent a year volunteering as a legal services assistant with the Jesuit Volunteer Corp, in Yakima, Washington, and then enrolled at New York University Law School receiving his Juris Doctorate degree in 1993. Patrick practiced law in New Hampshire for over 25 years and was a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association. He was recognized in US News and World Report for Best Lawyers and New Hampshire Magazine for Best Lawyers.

He was a beloved son of Dr. Gerald G. Sheehan and Brigid (Sullivan) Sheehan of Watertown, MA. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Brendan Sheehan of Indianapolis, IN, daughter, Margaret Sheehan of Concord, NH, his former wife, Kate Dolan of Concord, NH; his siblings, Gerald Sheehan Jr (Kathleen) of Charlestown, MA, Caroline Sheehan of Watertown, MA, Stephanie Nick (Gregory) of Concord, MA, and Kate Bellaud (Marc) of Westborough, MA as well as many nieces and nephews.

Patrick was a devoted and loving father. He received great joy from his two children, Brendan and Margaret. He enjoyed coaching and supporting them in all aspects of their lives, encouraging them to follow their passions. A beloved uncle, he was always up to speed on life accomplishments, the guest of honor at the kids table and organizer of wiffle ball and touch football games on summer vacations. Patrick was an avid reader who enjoyed discussing current events and recommending books. He loved following local sports teams as well as college athletics and traveled throughout the country to attend games with his children, family, and friends.

A visiting hour will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, from 9:00 to 9:45 am at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord, NH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 10:00 am at Christ the King Parish, 72 South Main Street, Concord, NH.

Burial will follow in the Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord, NH.
