Obituary

Norman S. McFall Jr., 82, Born November 30, 1936, Norman joined our Lord on Saturday, January 12 th surrounded by his loving family.

Norman was a 1954 graduate of Troy High School, Troy, NY where his drive for excellence began with the school's tennis, basketball, and football teams. Following high school, he briefly attended West Point Military Academy and received his Bachelor of Science in Geology from Saint Lawrence University in 1960.

Norman's business career began with Corning Glass Works, Corning, NY. After moving his family to California for a position with Signetics Corporation, Norman's mastery of manufacturing management led to multiple worldwide Managing Director/President positions for both Signetics and the General Instrument corporations. Facilities included locations in the US, Portugal, Korea, Philippines, Taiwan, and Mexico. A pioneer of the implementation of robotics within manufacturing production lines, Norman's career was highlighted by overseeing of construction of Sonora Mexico's largest manufacturing facility.

In retirement, Norman McFall relished visits with his children, grand and great-grandchildren, and extended family. Retiring in Tucson, AZ., he later moved to Savannah, GA where his love for tennis helped him earn two USTA Georgia Super Senior Championships; 2003, 2010. He spent his last year and a half in New Hampshire spending quality time with those he cherished. His family is so grateful to have had these precious final months together.

Norman is survived by his by his former wives, Diane McFall of Concord, NH and Neung-Hee McFall of Seoul, South Korea. His eight children and their spouses are Norman McFall and his wife Mary, Beth Nolan and her husband Jack, Jim McFall and his wife Nancy, Sally McFall, Terri Forsten and her husband Robert, Thomas McFall and his wife Rita, Carole McFall-Ramirez, and Nathan McFall. Surviving Siblings are Robert McFall and his wife Beth, and Betty Sarine and her husband Carl. Norman's grandchildren and their spouses  include Diane Groebecker and her husband Jim, Megan Murphy and her husband John, Matt and Marcus McFall, and Erik Forsten. Great grandchildren Nolan, Jack, and newest Owen were his treasures. Norman's extended family include Richelle Corriveau, Renee Gramatikas, her husband Mark and daughter Aurora, and beloved families of his niece, nephews, and their families.

Calling hours will be between 10:00-12:00 at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main, Concord, NH. Service will be at 12:00 followed by burial at the Blossom Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family requests that your donations be given to www.youngmenofhonor.org . This was a cause dear to his heart.
