Noel O. Hoglund, 90, died peacefully at The Birches in Concord, NH on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

Noel is survived by Lenita (Lugg) Hoglund, his dear wife of 64 years, his children John and Sheila Hoglund of Bow, NH, Mary and Michelle Hoglund-McGuirk of Pittsburgh, PA and Lyn and Gary Koutcher of Loch Sheldrake, NY, and his beloved grandchildren Leo and Sophia.

Noel was born on July 3, 1931 in New Kensington, PA.  Noel was a veteran of the US Army. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Forestry and worked for most of his career at Peoples Natural Gas Company as the Director of the Utility Survey Commission in Pittsburgh, PA.  Following his retirement, he and Nita settled in Florida and traveled across 49 states before returning to New Hampshire.

Noel was an avid hobbyist.  Among his many outdoor passions, he was interested in gardening, fishing, birds, rock hunting, astronomy and metal-detecting.  In addition, he enjoyed stamp and coin collecting, ham radio, Steelers football, guitar, learning Spanish and of course, video poker.

Visitation will take place at Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord, NH on Friday, December 10 from 12:30-2:00 pm.

Interment will immediately follow at Blossom Hill Cemetery, Concord.
