Obituary

Nicholas T. Demers, 38, of Concord, NH, died December 11, 2024 in Concord, NH after a year-long battle with cancer. He was born on July 21, 1986 in Biddeford Maine.

Nick is survived by fiancé Kayla Lakevicius and their daughter Millie Demers, father Greg and step-mother Tina Demers of Hooksett, NH, mother Christine Demers of Hooksett, NH and brother Brandon Demers and companion Lyndsey Loughlin, nephew Jaxson and niece Alayna of Manchester, NH along with grandparents Buster Pomeroy and Theresa Pomeroy of Maine, and Leo and Doris Demers of Dalton, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends that were like family.

He was a class of 2004 graduate from Central High School and went on to work at A.W. Therrien Company of Manchester, NH for over 10 years as a metal fabricator, a craft that he mastered with his custom work.

Nick was a strong and proud man that you could always depend on. Those that knew him best say, "He had a devilish smile that brought a twinkle to his eyes which would light up a room".

He loved family vacations at Hermit Island and Old Orchard Beach in Maine. He would never say no to spending time around a campfire with family and friends. He cherished his Sunday Family Funday adventures with Kayla and Millie. He also enjoyed listening to music or watching the Bruins, Cowboys and horror movies. In his spare time you could find him playing video games or snowboarding (which evolved from his love of skateboarding). His favorite holidays were Halloween and Christmas (in that order).

Memorial visiting hours will be Tuesday, December 17th from 4 to 7 PM at Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord. If you knew Nick, you know he had a love (or one could say obsession) for his Dixxon Flannels, and was not a fan of dressing up. Please feel free to wear a Dixxon / flannel in his honor.

A celebration of life will be held at a beach in Maine, to be determined at a later date.

Becoming a dad was one of his greatest accomplishments, so In lieu of flowers, donations can be made for his daughter's future which was one of his greatest desires in continuing his legacy.
