Michael Rayno, age76, of Stone Street in Concord passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, March 30, 2024.
He was born in Franklin, NH the son of the late Wilfred Preve and Sophia (Costa) Rayno.
Michael was proud to serve his country as a Marine in the Vietnam war. After his honorable discharge he traveled the states eventually winding up in Alaska, however his love for Concord and the State of NH brought him back.
Michael worked at the Department of Transportation for the State of NH for many years.
He enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing. As well as socializing at clubs like the VFW and the Elks, where he served as Jr. Vice President. He was also a member of the American Legion. He will be remembered for his wit and sarcastic sense of humor, and always having a good joke to share. He was also an avid NE Sports fan.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his step father, Richard Rayno; his loving wife of almost 45 years Gail (Serafin) Rayno who passed away in 2017; and his brother Stephen Rayno.
He is survived by his son, Francis "Frankie" Rayno of Concord; his daughter Rosemarie V. Boylan of Manchester; 1 granddaughter, Amara S. Rayno of Concord; 2 brothers, Terry and Richard Rayno; 2 sisters, Barbara Stanley and Sandra Buskey, and three half siblings, Robert, Barbara Jean and Wayne
