Obituary

Michael Mason of Belmont, NH passed away on Sunday January 22 from a sudden illness. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Mike grew up Hollis, spent many years in Milford and Pembroke before moving to Belmont 3 years ago.
Many knew Mike as "Concrete Jockey". He spent his entire adult life on the open road. He was always driving something; his Harley or a tractor trailer truck. His love for adventure and his strong work ethic took him and the love of his life all over the country in their trucking and motorcycle adventures. These adventures are where he met most of his closet friends, he and Bette have friends all over the United States.
Mike was the kind of guy that everyone loved. He helped people who were broken down on the side of the road, he rescued kittens from the middle of the highway and he saved any dog he could. He was selfless and always looking for ways he could help others. He was the best neighbor and friend you could ask for. Most importantly, he lived a life he could be proud of. He was a true family man, and loved his family more than anything. They were his pride and joy. He would tell you the titles of Daddy, Grandpa, Gramps, Pops and Great Grandpa were the best jobs he ever had.
There are no words that can express exactly how wonderful Mike really was, but if you knew him, you know.
Mike was predeceased by his parents Wilson and Mary Mason and his grandson Robert Richard. He leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Bette Mason, his daughters Leanne Lavoie and her husband Ron, Angela Pueblo and her husband Todd, Marcey Mason and her significant other, Chris, and Sons Matthew Lavoie and his wife Brenda and Nathan Mason. In addition his grandkids Josh Mullen, Matthew and Nick Lavoie, Summer Silkman, Kaleigh Groch and several great children, nieces and nephews.
Mike will be missed by all that knew him.
