Obituary

Martha Lorraine Tardif, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away on October 3, 2023. She was one of seven children born to the late Joseph Omar Tardif and Anna Elizabeth Devine Tardif on Sunday, April 22, 1945 in Lynn, Massachusetts.

Martha was all about her family, and her life revolved around her grandchildren.  She would do just about anything to make them happy. She enjoyed making others laugh and making them feel loved.  Martha was a very hard worker and sometimes would hold down two jobs, while raising two kids and being a single mother.  This last year she worked at Wal-Mart in Bryant, AR, where she got the opportunity to meet and talk with many new people. She loved her job and strived to be the best Walmart greeter ever.  She was unique and vibrant, and everyone loved, "the lady with the blue hair" She was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Bryant, Arkansas. Martha always said she had the best pastor in the world, and her church family was very special to her. Most of all, she loved her Lord and Savior.  She would testify daily to those around her, how much she loved the Lord.  It has always been her biggest prayer that all her family and friends would join her in Heaven one day.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Anna Tardif; two brothers, George and Bobby Tardif; one sister, MaryAnn Ryan.

She is survived by her son, Tim Tardif (Lisa); daughter, Linda Hokams(Freddie);  ten grandchildren, Tianna Nusantara(Dhanny), Amanda Percy(Ben), Tim Tardif Jr, Samson Tardif, Karissa Tardif, Julia Tardif, Zechariah Hokams, Klayr Hokams, Madelyne Hokams and Vivyanna Hokams; five great grandchildren; sister, Joan Tardif; two brothers, Joe and John Tardif; lots of nieces and nephews, along with a host of family, church family and dear friends who all love her and will miss her deeply.

A Celebration of life will be held on November 18th at 11 AM in the Chapel of the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord.
