Lucretia Eunice Forand, 94, of Concord, NH, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025, at Merrimack County Nursing Home. She was born in Weare, NH, the daughter of the late Dilvert and Delma (Willey) Darres.

Lucretia worked for several years at the NH Odd Fellows Nursing Home. She loved gardening, reading, caring for animals, painting landscapes and scenes from nature, and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Forand, and her sisters, Alice Northup, Gertrude Silva, and Gladys Darres.

She is survived by her daughters: Carol Martel and her husband, Donald, of Epsom; Donna Knowlton and her husband, Timothy, of Concord; and Patricia Magoon and her husband, Kenneth, of Loudon. She is also survived by her sons: David Forand of South Carolina and Richard Forand of Plymouth; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Contoocook Village Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pope Memorial SPCA in Concord, NH.
