Louise W. Perkins, age 102, longtime resident of Keene passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Havenwood Heritage Heights Retirement Community.

She was born in Goffstown, NH, the daughter of the late Laurence and Alice (Mahoney) Whitten.  She was a graduate of Goffstown High School and received her teaching degree from Keene Teachers College.

She worked for many years as a teacher in New Hampton, Weare, Keene, Goffstown, NH and Corpus Christi, TX while her husband Paul was stationed there in the Navy.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Paul C. Perkins who passed away in 2007, her brother, Laurence Whitten Jr. and sisters, Margaret Clougherty, Helen Nawoj.

She is survived by her daughter, Joan (and John) Heath of Sanbornton; 2 sons, David (and Ginger) Perkins of Jackson and Rick (and Nikki) Perkins of Bedford, NH; 5 Grandchildren, Becky, Sarah, Cassandra, Chad and Piper; 7 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 10 AM at Christ the King Parish, 72 South Main Street, Concord, NH.

Graveside services for Louise and her husband, Paul, will be at 2 PM at the NH Veterans Cemetery, DW Highway, Boscawen, NH, where military honors will be provided for Paul.
