Loretta C.
Loveday
November 18, 2025
Loretta C. Loveday, age 75, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025 at Granite VNA Hospice House surrounded by family.
She was born December 7th, 1949, in Hartford, CT the daughter of the late, Roland and Pauline (Boutin) Lefebvre. She was a graduate of Ste. Marie High School in Manchester, NH and married her High School Sweetheart.
Loretta was a talented artist and enjoyed crafting, quilting, sewing, singing along to music and doing puzzles. Starting in High School she would make her own dresses, and went on to make clothes for her loved ones. She had an eye for decorating and enjoyed making seasonal displays for guests. Loretta also volunteered her time with her church community, especially with youth education, and ran her own small daycare.
Loretta will be remembered for her witty sarcastic sense of humor, her love for the holidays with her family, baking special treats, never forgetting to send a birthday card, and her love of children's laughter at play. Her favorite holiday was Halloween, as she often would make her own costumes, loved seeing all the children, and maybe give a scare. We will miss her gentle spirit, her deep empathy, and her extraordinary ability to connect with children.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James Loveday, who passed away in 2007.
Loretta is survived by her 4 children, Patricia Loveday of Dorchester, MA, Kathryn Loveday and her husband Robert Loubser of Makawao, HI, Marsha Loveday of Weare and Christopher Loveday of Merrimack; 6 grandchildren, Alex and Jillian Oliveira, Chloe Loveday, Max Loubser, and Miles and Benjamin Lanier; 4 sisters, Dorothy Paquette of CT, Paulette Lefebvre of Concord, Rita Boisvert and her husband Ron of MD, and Marie Lefebvre of Manchester; 2 brothers Tom Lefebvre and his wife Bonnie of GA and Phil Lefebvre and his wife Christine of Atkinson; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2026.
The Waters Funeral Home in Concord has the honor of assisting the family with arrangements.
