Katherine Homsy

Concord- Katherine Homsy age 100 of Alton Woods Dr. died Sunday Jan. 5th at Pleasant View Center Nursing Home, where she was a resident for over 7 years. For her entire stay at Pleasant View she was visited every single day by her loving husband Fred who stayed with her all day to take care of her. She was born in Concord, daughter of the late Benjamin and Cora (Ordway) Santamaria. Mrs. Homsy and her husband Fred were residents of Zepherhills FL. for twenty years.
Katherine was a hairdresser and owner operator of We-Two Beauty Shop for 15 years. She loved to entertain at her home and was an avid traveler up until she was 90 years old.
She was predeceased by a son; Michael Perkins and a grandson; Michael Bunnell.
She is survived by her husband of over 50 years Fred L. Homsy, one step Daughter Yvette Elliott and her husband John of Cape Elizabeth ME. One daughter Carol Ann Mitchell Jr. and her husband Robert of Raymond NH, three grandsons John Bunnell, Christopher Bunnell and Justin Robbins.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday (1/11) from 9:30 to 10:45AM at the Waters Funeral Home 50 South Main St. Concord.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday (1/11) at 11AM at Christ the King Church/St. John's 72 South Main St. Concord NH.
Burial will be held at a later date.
