Judith Ann Young, age 80 of Sargent Street in Belmont passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Concord Hospital.

She was born in Malden, MA the daughter of the late Donald J. and Nina (Abbott) Whitney.

Judith worked as an educator for the Employment Security Department for the State of NH for many years.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed camping with her family.

Survived by her husband, James "Jim" Young Sr. of Belmont; her son, James Young Jr. of Belmont; and daughter Judy Prevost of Merrimack; her 9 grandchildren, Jesse and Chris Martinez, Sara Hackney, Liz Young, Megan Bonanno, Tom and Tyler Peno, and Hannah and Alex Prevost; 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son John Young, and daughter Margaret Peno; 2 brothers, Ron and Richard Whitney; and 2 sisters, Janice Rich, and Karen Supery.

Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, March 24th from 5 to 7 PM at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord.
