John Michael Quinn

Port Richey , FL - John Michael Quinn fondly known to many as Mike, Q, Fabio, Motly Q, Quinnie, and Dimes passed away on July 17, 2024 at the age of 71 in Port Richey FLA .

Born on August 25, 1952 in Concord NH Mike spent most of his early years in Concord attending Rundlett Jr High and Concord High Schools .

Mike was known for his friendly demeanor and his fierce spirit .

He found great purpose in his sobriety, which he achieved many years ago. Mike dedicated much of his time helping others facing similar battles. This commitment to service was a significant aspect of his life, shout out to Cheryl, Gary, Lisa and many others who supported him along his journey. Professionally Mike was a familiar face at several local construction companies. Mike became a hairdresser after construction, working at Peter's Salon in Concord as well as working the door at Tio Juan's and Margaritas. Mike worked many years at Capitol Dist. Inc.

Mike played many years in the Concord and Suncook softball leagues, Sullivan News, David Welding, Take Five, and Coors Extra Gold to name a few.

While living in FLA Mike was helping his parents maintain their home and landscaping the yard was his peace of mind .

He is survived by his mother Carolyn who was by his side all the way, Dana the mother of his son Justin of Weirs Beach Laconia, his younger sister Cindy, brother-in-law Greg and nephew Dustin of Land O' Lakes FLA ., younger brother Tim, nephews Patrick and Oliver of Loudon NH. Mike also cherished his companionships with his dogs Charlie, Max, Joe and most recently Lucy.

Mike was preceded in death by his father J.H. Quinn former Mayor of Concord NH.

Calling hours will be on Monday, April 27, 2026 from 4 pm to 6pm at Waters Funeral Home on 50 South Main St., Concord, NH. We will also celebrate the life of Carolyn  Quinn at this time. A graveside service will be held at Blossom Hill Cemetery on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 10am. Please join us in this celebration.
