Jesse J. Dennis age 84 passed away Friday May 6 ^th with his wife and daughter by his side after a ten month battle with bladder cancer.  Jesse was born in Newport RI on October 25, 1937 to Jesse R. Dennis and Anna Marie (Ryan) Dennis.  Jesse's professional career spanned 40 years working as a Civil Engineer for the State of New Hampshire Highway Department.  The last 10 years of his career he was the Bureau Administrator of the Department of Transportation.  He also served as a Director of NH good roads association, also received a lifetime achievement award and was president of St. Vincent De Paul Society at Christ the King/St. John's Parish in Concord NH.

Jesse graduated from DeLaSalle Academy and Bradford Durfee College in Fall River MA where he obtained his Engineering degree.  In 1959 he married Patricia (Cremin) Dennis and they would have been married 63 years this August 8 ^th .

Jesse is survived by his loving wife Pat and their daughter Doreen Dennis of Warren RI, he is also survived by his siblings; Arthur Dennis and Anna Marie Whitehead of Porthsmouth RI.

In addition to his parents Jesse was predeceased by three brothers; Frank Dennis, Christopher Dennis and Michael Dennis who were lost at sea, and his sister Sandra Gould.

At Jesse request there will be no visiting hours of services.
