Jarred Richard Siciak, 35, of Bow, NH, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, in a tragic accident while working on his truck.

Born on June 1, 1989, in Concord, NH, Jarred grew up in Bow and graduated from Bow High School in 2007. He went on to earn two associate degrees from the University of New Hampshire Thompson School of Applied Sciences—one in business and another in horticulture technology—and graduated in 2011. While attending UNH, he met his future wife, Melanie C. Siciak of Chatham, MA. They married on Cape Cod on September 24, 2016, bought a tiny house on wheels in 2020, and continued to share a life filled with adventure, travel, and love.

Jarred had a deep dedication to his work and took great pride in his craft. He worked as a landscaper at several companies, including Havenwood Heritage Heights, Aquatech, Riverfront Landscape, and Carolina Landscape. In 2019, he started his own hardscaping business, Big Bear Landscapes, where he poured his heart into creating beautiful outdoor spaces, taking his time to give attention to detail and provide perfection for each of his clients.

Despite being a quiet and introspective person, Jarred embraced many adventures with Melanie. Together, they embarked on a cross-country road trip after college, working on farms along the way. They traveled to Mexico for their honeymoon, and also explored destinations such as Alaska, New Zealand, and the Bahamas. Other favorite spots that the pair frequented were Asheville, NC; Charleston, SC; Chatham, MA; and the NY Adirondacks. In the summer of 2024, they joined Melanie's cousins and their partners on a memorable trip to Italy. Jarred embraced the full spice of life there—he was so at ease enjoying whatever places and experiences came with each day.

Jarred also enjoyed golfing, video games, hiking, movies, reading, the beach, the occasional cigar, eating cereal for every meal, and cheering for New England sports teams.

Jarred is survived by his loving wife, Melanie; his parents, Patricia and Richard Siciak of Bow, NH; his brother, Tyler Siciak, and his wife Katie and their son Rowen of Milford, MA; as well as extended family members Dave and Merrilyn Lewis, Al and Janie Siciak, Marlene Furgal, and many beloved cousins.

Memorial visiting hours will be held at Waters Funeral Home in Concord, NH, on Sunday, March 23rd from 10am-1pm.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
