James J. Preisendorfer died Thursday March 20th at Concord Hospital. He was born in Rome NY. He was the son of the late John G. Preisendorfer and Elsie Milks Jackson. He worked for the Department of Correction retail store for the State of NH.
James enjoyed fishing. He also loved to spend time kayaking, genealogy, watching both men and woman's hockey, the Celtics, Patriots, and his grandkids youth sporting events.
He was an active member of Knights of Columbus, holding many positions most recently serving as Faith Director and coordinating the annual men's retreat, other organizations that that he was very active in include Kairos Prison Ministry and Five & Two Bread ministry. He also loved his mission trips to Honduras with Project Eden.
He is survived by his wife; Pat Preisendorfer, four sons; Justin and his wife Angie, Nathan and his wife Katie, Erich and his wife Kelly, Devon and his wife Haleigh, Christopher Doyon and his wife Kate, grandchildren; Ruby, Eliza, Lukas, Benjamin, Claire, Greta, Simon, Daisy Mae and Myles, and his sister; Carol Chyrywaty and nieces and a nephews; Wendy Falzone, Diana Chyrywaty, Mark Chyrywaty, Tanya Chrimmins.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday March 25 from 4-7pm at Waters Funeral Home 50 South Main St., Concord NH 03301.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday March 26 at 10am at Immaculate Conception Church 9 Bonney St. Penacook.Burial will follow at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Rt 3 Boscawen at 12 noon.
