Epsom- James E. Golden Jr., "Tucker", age 75, of Epsom passed away on Monday April 10, 2023 at Granite VNA Hospice House.

He was born in Concord, NH son of the late James E. Golden Sr., and Tina (Swift) Chandler.  He was a graduate of Concord High School class of 1966.  After serving in the US Army, he returned to the University of New Hampshire where he received his Bachelor's degree.

He was an avid sports fan especially hockey and baseball and collector of sports memorabilia.  He loved animals especially his cats.  James enjoyed his monthly dinners with his longtime friends.

James is survived by his sister, Mary Jayne Burbank and her husband Stan of Concord; nephews, Craig Burbank, Keith Burbank and his wife Sherry and Matthew Burbank; numerous cousins; and many lifelong friends, including Susan Johnson of Chester.

A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 19 at 12:30 PM in the Chapel of the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord.

Burial with military honors will follow at 2 PM at the NH Veteran's Cemetery, DW Highway, Boscawen, NH
