Obituary

There will be one less kiss goodnight from a best friend and husband; one less hug, one less phone call from a loving dad; one less fan cheering on his grandson's games; one less proud grandfather watching a dance recital; one less Harley driving down the country roads; one less lifelong Patriots fan to cheer on his team.  On Saturday, May 26, 2018 a smile faded, a laugh silenced, kind eyes closed for the last time when Jack Cooper of Concord, NH passed away in Hudson, FL.  Jack was born October 20, 1953 in Concord NH and graduated from Concord High School.  He lived in Concord where he raised his family and retired as the Supervisor for the Concord Water Department in 2015 following 40 years of dedicated service.  During his retirement he looked forward to winters spent in Hudson, FL.

Jack will be remembered for his love of family.   His most enjoyable and memorable times were spent with them, and there was no limit to his kindness and generosity.

He is predeceased in death by his parents Arlene and Wallace Cooper and brother Jerry Cooper all from NH, and daughter Dani Royer Roesel of Middletown, DE.

Jack will be loved and remembered by his loving wife and best friend Elaine Cooper of 32 years; their son Jamie Royer and wife Christine of NH; their two daughters Ashley Cooper and Chelsey Cooper and her boyfriend Michael Nugent of NH; their beloved son-in-law Michael Roesel of Middletown, DE; his daughter Jennifer Cooper Bell of NH; grandchildren Anthony and Alex Roesel, Jackson and Lily Royer, Devin DeGreenia; his siblings Diana and Mark Johnson of Moultonboro, NH; Dinah Haycock of Northwood, NH, Richard Cooper of Shelbyville, TN, Robert Cooper of Lychburg, TN, Ben and Nancy Cooper of Shelbyville, TN, Bruce and Dolores Cooper of Loudon, NH, Lon and Cindy Cooper of Tilton, NH, Len and MaryAnn Cooper of Pembroke, NH; sister-in-laws JudyAnn Roby, Lisha Boucher and Rosan Boucher all of NH along with great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord, NH on June 15.  Calling hours will be 3-6 pm followed by a memorial service.
