Boscawen - Helen M. Champagne, age 86, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2021 at Merrimack County Nursing Home.

She was born in Concord, NH the daughter of the late Joseph D. and Helen (Roy) Champagne.   A graduate of St. John's High School she attended Mt. St. Mary's and was a graduate of Franklin Pierce Business School.  Helen spent many summers as a camp counselor at Camp Bernadette.

She worked at the NH State Hospital in the Personnel Department for many years.  Helen enjoyed traveling to see family with her sisters.  She loved playing games, doing crossword puzzles and was an avid Red Sox fan.  Helen enjoyed painting, and other arts and crafts, and was a lover of all animals, especially cats, her favorite was her longtime companion, Saber.

She is survived by her brother, Thomas Champagne of Concord; a sister in law, Barbara Champagne of Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews.

Helen was predeceased by her 2 brothers, Peter and John Champagne; and 2 sisters, Louise Frost and Anne Rice.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 27 ^th at 10 AM at Christ the King Parish, 72 South Main Street, Concord.  Or online at youtube.com/christthekingnh

Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Concord.
