Francys M Boegel
Concord - Francys M. Boegel, 94 of Branch Turnpike, died January 10th at the Concord Hospital.
Born Marie Fernade DuChene in ST.Alexis, Quebec,Canada She legally changed her name when she became a US Citizen in 1942. With her parents, Marie-Edith Barriault and Francois-Emile DuChene she moved to Oneida, NY in 1923 where she lived and graduated high school. An adventurous young women, she moved to NY City and lived and worked there throughout her 20's. She met her late husband, William Boegel and they married in 1949. He was a Navy pilot and they lived in many places, including Rhode Island, Cuba, Maryland, Virginia, Long Island and Massachusetts, and eventually settling in NH. Known as a notorious card shark among her grandchildren. She was an expert canasta and phase ten player. Known best for her compassion and generosity, her loved ones will miss her always. She attended the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
She is survived by a daughter Sharon Silva and husband David of Concord; a son Mark Boegel and wife Linda of Nashua. Grandchildren Carolyn Coskren, Bethany Silva, Katherine Silva, Adam, Jason and Martin Boegel and several Great Grandchildren. Two Brothers Ralph DuChene and Jack DuChene both of Oneida, NY. Many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Stephen Boegel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday (1/14) at 10 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 180 Loudon Road, Concord. The Rev. Frank Silva will officiate.
Burial will follow at 12:00 Noon in the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
