Eugene "Gene" N. Mitchell, age 85, longtime resident of Manchester passed away on Wednesday, November 9 ^th at Mountain Ridge Center in Franklin.

Born in Concord, NH, son of the late Frank N. and Doreen (Venne) Mitchell.  He was a graduate of Saint John's High School.  He was a veteran of the US Airforce.

Gene worked for many years as a printer for the Rumford Press.  He then worked at Saint Anselm College as a custodian up until his retirement.  He enjoyed spending time with his family at the beach.

He was predeceased by his wife Anita (Soucy) Mitchell; and his brother, Robert Mitchell Sr.

Survived by several grandchildren; his sister in law, Susan Mitchell of Concord; his nephew, Robert Mitchel Jr. of Concord; and close friends Sandy and Paul Plaisance of Manchester, NH

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 21 ^st at 10 AM at Christ the King Parish, 72 South Main Street, Concord.

Burial will follow at 12 Noon in the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
