Carol A. McCarthy, age 70, of Cameron Drive passed away unexpectedly on October 27, 2025 at her home.

She was born in Everett, MA the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Parris) Garrett.

She worked for many years as a secretary at Concord High School until her retirement.

Most of all Carol loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed quilting.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas McCarthy of Pittsfield; her son Joseph Perry and his wife Patty, and their children, Ayden, Kira, Lorelei, Novalie and Indigo all of Canterbury; her brother, William Garrett of Northwood; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister, Cheryl Garrett.

Visiting hours will not be held.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 5th at 10:30 AM in the Chapel of the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord.

Burial will follow in the Floral Park Cemetery in Pittsfield.
