Obituary

Bruce A. Taylor, age 64, of Burnt Hill Road, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at his home after a brief illness.

He was born in Cleveland, OH the son of the late William S. and Beverly (Birch) Taylor.

Bruce received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photo Illustration from Rochester Institute of Technology and pursued his passion in photojournalism for many years until he joined the New Hampshire State Police where he worked as a Criminalist II in the Forensic Crime Lab for 25 years. Recently, on October 7, 2022, he was honored with the Officer Richard W. Bateman Dedication and Professionalism Award at the New Hampshire Congressional Law Enforcement Awards ceremony, which he was able to attend with his wife and daughters.

Bruce enjoyed the outdoors, spending much of his time hiking, kayaking and camping and was passionate about sharing his sense of adventure with his daughters. He loved being with his family and friends and was known to be an enthusiastic storyteller with corny jokes always at the ready. Bruce was a shining light in the lives of others with a smile that will be remembered by all.

He was a devoted, loving husband and amazing father and grandfather and is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 41 years, Kathy (Rohr) Taylor of Weare; his two daughters, Sarah Taylor and her husband DJ Annicchiarico of Concord, and Rachel Taylor and her partner Douglas Russell of Hopkinton; grandchildren, Harper and William Annicchiarico, and Cohen and Norah Buote all of Concord; his brother, Barry N. Taylor and his wife Kimberly Soule Taylor of Franklin; in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as his beloved dog, Reine.

A celebration of Bruce's life will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 11am to 2pm at Duston Country Club, 40 Country Club Rd, Hopkinton, NH.
