Betty Wright Bourgault, age 79, of Concord, NH passed away on September 27, 2013 from Primary Peritoneal Cancer. She was born April 3, 1934, the only child of Donald M. Wright and Marguerite Stanley (Wright) Garland.



Betty graduated from Concord High School in 1952 and the former Pierce Business College in 1954. She had been employed as a Medical Secretary for the late Howard E. Pratt, MD until her marriage in December, 1956 to Paul E. Bourgault.



She had been a volunteer in the Retired Senior Volunteer program for many years as well as volunteering at the Capitol Center for The Arts. Betty was a communicant of Sacred Heart Paris in Concord for more than 50 years where she was involved in several activities with the parish. Betty also was an Adorer at the Padre Pio Chapel.



Betty leaves her husband of 56 years, Paul E. Bourgault of Concord, and four children; Charles E. Bourgault of Bow, NH, Michael W. Bourgault and his wife Pat of Concord, NH, Paula A. Gray and husband Robert of Allen, Texas, and Thomas A. Bourgault and his wife Amy of Concord, NH. She also leaves her eight grandchildren, Timothy, Brittany and Danielle Bourgault, Jack and Michaela Gray, Paul Bourgault, and Benjamin and Robert (Bobby) Bourgault. She also leaves her former daughter-in-law Shari Field.



Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street Concord, NH.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 2 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church 52 Pleasant Street, Concord, NH.
