Obituary

Annette Marie Goddard, 82, of Concord, NH, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2024 at hospice
house in Concord, NH. She was born September 7, 1941 in Concord, NH to the late Edward and Fabiola
Morin. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Don.
Much loved and cherished mother/mommy of son Jeff and fiancé Saundra of Candia and daughter Tina
and husband Greg of Hooksett, NH. Loved and adored Mimi of four grandchildren; Nick, Brandon,
Hannah and Brad and four great grandchildren; Jaxson, Alayna, Autumn and Millie. Loved by two sisters
Lucille Stevens and husband Karl, Estelle Dearborn and partner Don Ethier, one brother Gerard Morin
and wife Andrea, along with nieces, nephews and many cousins. She also leaves behind her dog bailey
her trusted protective companion.
Annette was a 1959 graduate from Concord High School, she was employed by John Hancock Life
Insurance where she became the first female office manager in the region and met the love of her life
Don with whom she was married to for 41 years. They were fortunate to retire early and spend their
winters in Florida for over 20 wonderful years. Where they made a lot of great friends and many
memories playing golf.
Annette made many friends over the years, people were drawn to her with her inviting smile, kind heart
and sharp wit. She had many groups of friends she kept in touch with; the 59ers (her high school
friends), from her early days learning how to tole paint and selling her work at craft fairs, the golfing girls
from both Nippo Lake, NH and Rotonda Florida, the John Hancock ladies, and her core group of friends
that she enjoyed going out for Friday night dinners, birding and going to yard sales (because she always
loved finding a good deal).
Annette will be remembered as a strong and independent woman with a big heart, always willing to
help anyone in need. She didn't let battling Parkinson's hold her back from doing the things she loved
which included spending time with family, especially if it involved the beach and a friendly competition
of bocce ball or cornhole. She also loved bowling, reading and doing puzzles.
