Penacook – Adalyn Rose Petty, almost 17 Months, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family after suffering complications from courageously battling the rare disease Lissencephaly
Adalyn was born in Concord, NH on October 4, 2012 the daughter of Jason and Julie (Barton) Petty. Adalyn shared a special bond with her big sister Eila Ann. Though the time she had on earth was short, she gave everyone who knew her strength and love. She was a fighter, a joy, and an inspiration who will be cherished forever in the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of getting to know her.
In addition to her loving parents, Julie and Jason and big sister Eila Ann all of Concord, she is survived by her maternal grandparents Melinda and Bruce Brown of Northfield, Sydney and Joanne Barton of Northfield, her great grandmother, Beverly Cullen of Northfield; her God Mother, Christine Raffaelly of Northfield and many loving Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Richard and Mary Petty.
Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2014 from 2 to 4 PM at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 3, 2014 at 11 AM in the Chapel at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, DW Highway Boscawen, NH.
